My journey began in the small village of Jamba, Haryana, India, where the aromas of home-cooked meals sparked a lifelong love for food. Guided by the lesson from my father “Always embrace hard work, do your best, stay patient, and in time, your dedication will be rewarded”. I embraced every challenge with determination and passion. I trained in kitchens across India and internationally, mastering diverse cuisines and refining my culinary craft. Today, I am a professional Culinary Chef and an experienced Culinary Arts & Hospitality Trainer/Assessor in the private sector. My career has been shaped not just by kitchens, but by life’s challenges — moving across countries, facing struggles, and proving myself every single day. More than pursuing money, I focus on self-growth, resilience, and the courage to rise above criticism. I believe in showing the world what one can achieve through dedication, creativity, and heart. Through this book, I share my personal journey and culinary knowledge with readers, offering inspiration to young people everywhere — especially those leaving their home countries to chase their dreams. I want to show that with persistence, passion, and self-belief, challenges can be transformed into opportunities, and everyday ingredients can be turned into extraordinary meals.
