ABOUT THE BOOK

This book contains thirteen papers that were presented at a National Seminar on "National Education Policy 2020: Paradigm Shift in Higher Education" which was organized on March 12, 2024, by the Department of Education and the Department of Economics, Jawaharlal Nehru College, Pasighat, in collaboration with Doying Gumin College Pasighat. The papers highlight the opportunities, challenges and implications in different areas of education through the prism of NEP 2020. The collection explores a wide range of aspects of the policy, including its impact on higher education, teacher training, and employability, its role in the promotion of vocational education, ICT integration, and the preservation and cultural heritage through folktales.

 

ABOUT THE EDITOR

1. Dr. Apilang Apum is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Jawaharlal Nehru College, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh. She has done her Ph.D and M.Phil in Economics from Rajiv Gandhi University, Rono Hills, Itanagar. Her research interests’ areasare Development Economics, Health Economics and Labour Economics. She actively involves in Rethinking Economics India Network, INET Young Scholars Initiative. She has published research papers in various journals and edited-books.

 

2. Dr. Sony Dupak did her M.A, M.ED and Ph.D in Education from Rajiv Gandhi University, Rono Hills, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. She is presently serving as an Assistant Professor in Department of Education, Jawaharlal Nehru College, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh. She did her Ph.d in “Personality Traits of Secondary School Students of Arunachal Pradesh in relation to some Cognitive and Non-Cognitive Variables”. She has published many research papers, articles in various journal and edited-books and presented papers in international, national, and state level Seminars, Workshops, Conferences and Webinars.
