ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Lyman Frank Baum (1856-1919) was an American author famously known for, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.  His first collection, Mother Goose, was published in 1897. Following that, he wrote Father Goose that gained immense popularity. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is a modern fairy tale featuring fictional land, witches, and a girl, named Dorothy.
