ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dr. Skattar Singh is an academic researcher and Assistant Professor with over eight years of teaching experience. He earned his M.Sc. (Hons.) in Economics from Punjab school of economics, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and also Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. Kuldip Kaur. He has played a prominent role in various research projects at the Punjab School of Economics and the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Chair, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Additionally, he has published numerous research papers in Web of Science, Scopus, UGC-CARE list, and peer-reviewed journals. His areas of interest include the Indian start-up ecosystem, rural development, agricultural and labour economics.
